I'm not going to tell you the whole story here — some of it isn't for a shop page, and you didn't come here for that. What matters is the short version: I've been through storms that took things apart. More than once. And more than once, I built again from what was left.
The phoenix isn't a symbol I picked because it looked good on a logo. It's just the most honest word I had for what kept happening.
What this shop is
ADAphoenix is where I put the work down on something you can actually hold. Every design here started as mine — the watercolour koi, the tarot cards, the abstract bursts of colour, the quiet script on a white mug. Some are soft and some are loud, and I think that's honest too. Not every day asks for the same thing.
I care a lot about what the art gets printed on. It would be easy to put a good design on a cheap shirt and hope nobody notices. I don't do that. The garments are chosen from brands I'd wear myself — heavyweight cotton that holds its shape, garment-dyed tees that get better with washing, ceramics that survive the dishwasher. If a piece isn't good enough to keep, it isn't good enough to sell.
Made when you order it
Nothing here sits in a box waiting for a buyer. Your piece is printed after you order it, which takes a few days longer than a warehouse would — and means nothing gets made that nobody wanted. For a small shop run by one person, that's the only version of this that makes sense.
